Body Found in Abra River Identified

The body discovered in Abra River, located in Barangay Mabungtot, Langiden, has been transported to a funeral home in Bangued, Abra.

Authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as James Español, 23, originally from Davao and a current resident of Barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra.

The body was brought to the funeral home with the assistance of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in La Paz.

The victim’s family expressed their gratitude to all those who helped locate the body.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim was already missing for several days before being found.
