Iloilo City – Two missing children in Brgy. Baldoza, La Paz, are reportedly connected to an alleged ‘aswang’ that offered them food and games before their disappearance.

The missing children are John Ronald Linagad, 4, and Camelle Zhynn Jareol, 5, both residents of Zone 3, Barangay Baldoza.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Maria Lorraine Asturias, John Ronald’s mother, recounted that her son claimed they were fed by creatures pretending to be their parents and taken to a banana grove.

Reports indicate the children were given fish and rainwater to drink. Additionally, the children were lured with games inside a vehicle. Although they wanted to go home, the unknown beings prevented their return.

According to Asturias, they passed the location where the children were later found, but the kids were not inside the abandoned car at that time.

She expressed her astonishment at discovering the children inside the vehicle that morning.

Meanwhile, John Ronald stated in another interview that an ‘aswang’ was responsible for their abduction.

Prior to the discovery of the children, their parents sought help from a local healer, who confirmed the children were alive but claimed they had been taken by a creature.
