Government Ensures Repatriation of Pinay Nurse After Abu Dhabi Car Accident

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has confirmed the immediate repatriation of a Filipina nurse who died in a car accident in Abu Dhabi.

The DMW also assured that the Philippine government will provide all available assistance to the nurse’s family, particularly to her husband.

The nurse tragically passed away due to a vehicular accident in the United Arab Emirates.

In response, Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac announced that representatives from the DMW and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) have been dispatched to Abu Dhabi to assist in the investigation.

Secretary Cacdac further stated that government personnel, alongside the nurse’s husband, Reyna Jane Ancheta, are in Abu Dhabi to claim the body.

This effort aims to ensure the swift return of the deceased nurse’s remains to her homeland.

As of now, the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
