The Court of Appeals has issued a freeze order on the bank accounts and properties of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy and nine associates.

In a 48-page resolution, the appellate court ordered the freezing of 10 bank accounts belonging to Quiboloy, along with seven of his real estate properties, five vehicles, and one aircraft.

The freeze order also extends to the bank accounts of KOJC and Swara Sug Media Corporation, which operates Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI), the media arm of KOJC.

The court found reasonable grounds to believe that Quiboloy’s bank accounts are linked to illicit activities and crimes, including qualified human trafficking, sexual and child abuse, sex trafficking of children, fraud, conspiracy, marriage fraud, smuggling, and money laundering.

The freeze order takes immediate effect and will remain in place for 20 days.

Meanwhile, SMNI’s legal representative, Atty. Mark Tolentino, stated that while they respect the court’s decision, they plan to file a motion challenging it.
