Two Men Shot Dead While Delivering Pigs in Isabela

Two men delivering pigs were killed in an ambush by unidentified gunmen along the national highway of Barangay District 1, San Manuel, Isabela.

The victims were identified as Lordwin Ganio, also known as “Igko,” and Christian Acierto, both residents of Barangay San Andres, Cabatuan, Isabela.

According to Police Major Jojo Turingan, chief of the San Manuel Police Station, the victims were in a mini truck with plate number XGN 212, en route to deliver pigs at the public market in San Manuel.

While parked by the roadside, they were shot by suspects wearing black jackets, short pants, and black helmets, who were riding a black motorcycle.

Both victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds, which led to their immediate deaths.

The suspects quickly fled towards the Aurora area in Isabela.

Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the killing of the two victims.

A manhunt operation is currently underway to apprehend the suspects.
