17 Foreign Nationals Arrested in NBI Raid on Makati City Scam Hub

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) cybercrime division raided a building in Makati City that served as a scam hub.

Authorities conducted the operation early Saturday morning.

Seventeen foreign nationals suspected to be involved in various scams were arrested during the raid.

Authorities also seized computers, SIM cards, cell phones, and notebooks containing scripts used for fraudulent activities.

The NBI revealed that the location had been under surveillance for several days before the raid.

The arrested suspects are currently being investigated, and authorities are identifying other individuals who may be involved.
