Driver Killed After Pickup Crashes Into Post

KORONADAL CITY – A driver lost his life after his pickup truck crashed into a PLDT post in Surallah, South Cotabato.

The accident occurred in Zone 1, Barangay Libertad, Surallah, around 9:00 PM on October 3, 2024.

Police identified the victim as Ryan Salcedo, 42, a married resident of Koronadal City.

According to the investigation by Surallah PNP, Salcedo was driving towards Koronadal from Barangay Centrala when he lost control and hit the post.

He was immediately rescued by members of the BFP Surallah and rushed to SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Authorities are urging the public to drive carefully to avoid accidents on the road.
