Ex-VP Robredo to Run for Naga City Mayor in 2025

Former Vice President Atty. Leni Robredo has formally announced her candidacy for mayor of Naga City in the Bicol Region.

The announcement follows a series of sectoral consultations held by Robredo.

Robredo also introduced her slate for the 2025 National and Local Elections.

She will be running alongside incumbent 3rd District Camarines Sur Representative Gabriel “Gabby” Bordado, Jr., who will be her vice mayoral candidate.

Robredo’s lineup of councilor aspirants includes:

  1. Ghiel “Oying” Rosales
  2. Jessie “Jess” Albeus
  3. Melvin Ramon “Omar” Buenafe
  4. Gayle Abonal-Gomez
  5. Jose “Joe” Perez
  6. Elmer Baldemoro
  7. Mila “Miles” Raquid-Arroyo
  8. Vito “Butch” Borja
  9. Francisco “Frank” Mendoza
  10. Ariez Macaraig

The group is set to file their certificates of candidacy tomorrow, October 5, at Comelec-Naga.
