Two people were killed after two vehicles collided around 8 PM last night in Purok 10, Barangay Buda, Marilog District, Davao City.
Authorities reported that the crash involved a Ford Ranger pick-up driven by Kerwin, an adult male, and a Fuso Canter drop-side truck driven by Rey Bando Awe, a 40-year-old married man from Purok 18 Duplex, Barangay Talomo Proper, Davao City.
The vehicles were traveling along the Davao-Bukidnon Road in opposite directions, with the pick-up coming from Bukidnon heading toward Davao City, while the truck was traveling from Davao to Bukidnon.

Truck passengers Jessy Abando, Ruel Awe, Elmer Siputan, and Ruel Aktiva sustained injuries, but Aktiva was declared dead on arrival at Isaac Robillo Hospital.
