LAOAG CITY – The lifeless body of 30-year-old Bryan Judalena, a resident of Brgy. San Roque in Paoay, has been recovered from a rice field in Brgy. Lawa.

The discovery was made during an ongoing search and retrieval operation by the Philippine National Police and various agencies.

According to P/Lt. Joan Salvatiera, the body was located amidst the efforts to find Judalena, who was reported missing on the night of September 30, coinciding with the onset of Typhoon Julian in the province.

Salvatiera confirmed that the body would be cremated immediately, as it was deemed unsuitable for embalming due to its prolonged exposure to water.
