21-Year-Old Driver Dies After Abduction in Baguio City; Five Suspects at Large

Baguio City – A 21-year-old male driver was reported dead following an abduction incident involving unidentified suspects on Km5, Asin Road, Baguio City, shortly after 11 PM on October 1.

The victim has been identified as Jansel Pelayo, a resident of Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet.

According to initial investigations by authorities, five suspects intercepted Pelayo’s vehicle, forcibly removed him, and subsequently caused the fatal incident.

Eyewitness accounts reveal that the suspects fled the scene in a taxi with the plate number YAB3087, heading towards Tuba, Benguet.

Emergency responders transported Pelayo to a medical facility; however, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Authorities are actively pursuing the five suspects and gathering evidence related to the crime.
