“The song is about telling someone how much you like them in a sweet and honest way. It has a catchy tune and lighthearted vibe, making it easy to relate to and enjoy,” KAIA shares.

Produced and co-written by KINDRED’s Luis Montales and Kenneth Amores, along with the members of KAIA, the song showcases the group’s evolution as artists and songwriters. It is released under Sony Music Entertainment.

Reflecting on the process, the group explains that the recording of “Walang Biruan” was full of spontaneity, allowing them to take creative control and explore new ideas.

“We spent a while on how we can arrange the song and make it more palatable to our audience,” shares KAIA. “Alexa took part in writing the rap verse, and the four of us, Charlotte, Sophia, Charice, and Angela, exchanged ideas on how we can make the song longer and more beautiful.”

The track’s music video, directed by Jonathan Tal Placido of Toothless, was shot entirely on an iPhone, a first for the P-Pop scene.

“There are playful scenes showing how your imagination runs wild when you’re nervous, but once you finally confess, it’s like a huge weight is lifted,” KAIA reveals. “Suddenly, you feel free, at peace, and everything just feels brighter and more colorful.”

KAIA consists of twin sisters Charice and Angela, Alexa, Sophia, and Charlotte. Their pre-debut single “Kaya” was released on December 10, 2021.

They were hailed as P-Pop Girl of the Year at the P-Pop Awards 2023.
