Motorcycle-Riding Gunmen Shoot Welder in Tabuk City

A welder was shot dead by motorcycle-riding assailants in front of a welding shop in Barangay Casigayan, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

The victim, identified as Andres Ocao Bolingon, a native of Dalupa, Pasil, and a current resident of Dagupan West, Tabuk City, was taking a break outside the welding shop when the attack occurred.

According to police reports, Bolingon was seated outside the shop when a motorcycle with two men onboard stopped in front of him.

One of the suspects, armed with a .45 caliber gun, shot Bolingon directly in the face, hitting him in the mouth.

Photos shared by the victim’s nephew show the two men on the motorcycle, which had no license plate, speeding away from the crime scene toward Quezon Street, Dagupan Centro.

Authorities are conducting an investigation to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the fatal shooting.
