Although legal representatives were sent on behalf of the OVP, Bongalon noted that they were not authorized to represent the office in the proceedings.

The House has stated that it will wait for Vice President Duterte to attend, extending the invitation for today and tomorrow.

Rep. Bongalon emphasized that the Vice President will be given ample opportunity to participate in the plenary discussion of the OVP’s budget.

Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, tasked as the sponsor for the OVP budget, appears to be caught in a difficult situation, according to Bongalon.
