The Davao Region Police are preparing to file over 200 cases against individuals allegedly protecting Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy.

According to Davao Police Regional Office (PRO 11) Regional Director Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, the police are building multiple cases against Quiboloy’s supporters, who reportedly hindered efforts to locate the controversial religious leader.

Brig. Gen. Torre stated that he has instructed police directors within the Davao Region to prepare up to ten charges against each individual identified as assisting in concealing Quiboloy’s whereabouts.

In addition to these supporters, cases will also be filed against those who had information regarding Quiboloy’s location but deliberately withheld it from authorities.

Charges may include obstruction of justice, disobedience, and other related offenses.

Meanwhile, the police are also preparing separate sedition charges against members of the KOJC who participated in the August 25 blockade of the Carlos P. Garcia Highway, which leads to the KOJC compound.
