Alice Guo to Be Transferred to Pasig City Jail on Monday, Says PNP

Former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo is scheduled to be transferred to Pasig City Jail on Monday, September 23, 2024, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo confirmed that the necessary documentation for her immediate transfer has not yet been completed, delaying the process until Monday.

Guo’s transfer follows the order from Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 167, which is handling her case of Qualified Human Trafficking. The dismissed mayor has not been granted bail for temporary release in connection with her charges.

For the time being, Alice Guo will remain in the custody of the PNP custodial center until her transfer is finalized.
