18-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Baguio City

Baguio City – Police have leads in the death of an 18-year-old woman found bloodied and bruised inside her boarding house at Purok 21, San Carlos Height, Irisan, Baguio City.

The victim has been identified as Kacey Gabriel Alberto Labayen, a single, and a customer care assistant at a bar along Bokawkan Road, Baguio City.

According to Irisan Barangay Captain Arthur Carlos, the victim’s body was discovered covered in bruises and blood inside her boarding house after she had been missing from work for three days.

Her friends last contacted her at around 1:00 AM on September 19, after which she could no longer be reached, prompting them to visit her boarding house that same day.

It was there that her lifeless body was found, with multiple bruises on various parts of her body.

Labayen had reportedly mentioned an unnamed visitor arriving at her boarding house in her last message to a friend.

At present, her body has not yet been transported to her home in Nueva Vizcaya, but her family has been informed and is now in Baguio City.

The police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
