According to the investigation, the jeep was traveling from Abra to Narvacan when it lost its brakes while navigating the zigzagging downhill road in the area.

The driver tried to prevent further damage by steering the vehicle into the cement barrier, causing it to overturn.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Vigan, PMaj. Alexander Dangli, Chief of Police at the Narvacan Municipal Police Station, confirmed that eight adults and three children sustained minor injuries.

One passenger suffered a fractured hip and was the most seriously injured.
