Two Motorcyclists Killed in Tragic Ilocos Sur Accident

Sinait, Ilocos Sur – Two motorcyclists lost their lives in a tragic accident involving two motorcycles and a van on the national highway in Barangay Jordan, Sinait.

Identified as 24-year-old Leobert Ilar Noriel from Barangay Cabulalaan, Sinait, and 31-year-old Edmund Alarde Villapaz from Bayubay Sur, San Vicente, the victims sustained severe injuries and were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The accident occurred when Noriel, driving a SYM Bonus motorcycle, attempted to overtake a Nissan Urvan van driven by 37-year-old Jerome Paez Sanchez from Antipolo, Rizal.

The collision caused Villapaz, riding a Yamaha Sniper, to be thrown from his motorcycle and struck by the van.

The van driver was unharmed and is currently in the custody of Sinait Police Station for further investigation.
