The Philippine National Police (PNP) is considering utilizing digital activity to locate former presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque, according to PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo.

Fajardo revealed that the PNP’s Anti-Cybercrime Group is taking steps to determine Roque’s whereabouts.

One method they are exploring is tracking Roque’s IP address, although this cannot be done immediately as it requires a formal request to telecommunications companies.

The PNP believes Roque is still in the Philippines.

The House of Representatives had issued an arrest order against Roque after he failed to attend and submit documents for a public hearing related to an online gaming scam investigation.

Police officers visited Roque’s known residences but were unsuccessful in finding him.
