According to police investigations, the family feud stemmed from a dispute over inheritance.

The conflict escalated on September 15, 2024, when cousins Reygun Mina, 34, and Nelmark Mina, 27, got into a fistfight.

Although the fight was broken up, Reygun’s uncle, Richard Mina, returned to Reygun’s home later that night at around 9 PM. Armed with an improvised shotgun, Richard shot his nephew.

The severe wounds sustained by Reygun led to his death while en route to the hospital.
