Kamala Harris Condemns Violence After Another Assassination Attempt on Trump

A statement has been released by the camp of Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris following the second assassination attempt on her political opponent, former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Though brief, Vice President Harris emphasized in her statement that there is no place for violence in the United States.

Harris expressed relief that Trump is in stable condition after the recent shooting, which the U.S. Secret Service has identified as the second attempt on the former president’s life.

Trump had previously released a statement, confirming that he is safe and unharmed from the shooting incident.

U.S. President Joe Biden echoed similar sentiments, condemning political violence and any form of aggression in the country. Biden assured that investigations are ongoing to determine the full details of the incident.

The president also mentioned that he has directed the Secret Service to take all necessary steps and utilize all resources to ensure the safety of the former president.

Meanwhile, various world leaders have expressed their relief following the attempted assassination. Among them is Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who conveyed his gladness that Trump is unharmed.

As of now, Trump has yet to make an official public address following the shooting.
