Three Brothers Charged with Robbery and Homicide After Fatal Store Hold-Up in Agusan del Norte

BUTUAN CITY — Three brothers have been formally charged with robbery and homicide following a deadly store hold-up in Brgy. San Roque, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, in the early hours of Saturday.

The suspects, identified as Raymond Dadong, Reynaldo Dadong, and Roland Dadong, were involved in a violent robbery that resulted in the shooting death of Ginalyn Apolinario. her daughter, Evangeline Apolinario, and the store owner, Barangay Captain Salvador Junio, were also injured in the incident.

In an exclusive interview with Bombo Radyo Butuan, Police Staff Sergeant Rex Salino revealed that after the crime, the suspects, who are natives of Jabonga, Agusan del Norte, and currently residing in Brgy. Cawilan, Tubod, Surigao del Norte, were immediately pursued by the authorities.

The Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office alerted all municipal police units following the report.

CCTV footage from the crime scene helped the police identify one of the suspects, leading to a swift operation. The brothers were located at their residence, where they were found singing karaoke.

One of the suspects was still wearing a blood-stained jacket matching the one seen in the footage.

Authorities seized the firearms used in the crime, along with ammunition and personal belongings.
