The Philippine National Police (PNP) is currently studying the possibility of launching rescue operations for more members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) who are believed to be victims of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

In a press briefing at Camp Crame, PNP spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo revealed that five victims have approached the national police seeking assistance.

Two of these victims are reportedly willing to file affidavits, claiming that several others remain inside the KOJC premises, unable to seek help due to death threats from the so-called “Angels of Death,” who have allegedly threatened their lives and those of their families.

For the protection of the victims, the PNP has withheld additional information regarding their identities.

In relation to this, PCol. Fajardo announced that coordination with relevant agencies, particularly the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), is already underway concerning the case.

Meanwhile, the PNP has also revealed that a Special Investigation Team has been formed to track down individuals who assisted in hiding Pastor Quiboloy.

According to Fajardo, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) will spearhead the investigation, and a list of potential accomplices has already been compiled. Cases are now being prepared against these individuals.

Previously, PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil reported that charges of obstruction of justice would be filed against anyone who aided in concealing the pastor.
