Gale warnings have been issued for the western and southern seaboards of Southern Luzon, as well as for the seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough, with wave heights between 1.5 and 3.5 meters, making sea travel risky for small seacrafts.

Track and Intensity Outlook

Tropical Depression Gener is forecast to make landfall in the vicinity of Isabela or Aurora within the next 24 hours. The storm may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday morning, possibly intensifying into a tropical storm over the West Philippine Sea. Gener is expected to head toward southern mainland China, where it could make landfall by Friday (20 September).

Authorities and the public are advised to take precautionary measures and monitor official weather advisories to ensure safety, especially in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and other storm-related hazards.
