Upon its arrival in Puerto Princesa, the hungry crew members were immediately fed, with some reported to be dehydrated.

The ship had been unable to receive supplies as the China Coast Guard blocked resupply missions to BRP Teresa Magbanua.

China has also called for the removal of the ship from Escoda Shoal.

The PCG explained that the vessel’s withdrawal was for humanitarian reasons.
