DOJ to Request Search Warrant for Reported Mass Graves at Raided POGO Hub in Porac

The Department of Justice (DOJ) will request a court to issue a search warrant to locate reported mass graves within the compound of the raided POGO hub, Lucky South 99, in Porac, Pampanga.

Justice Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty stated that the DOJ is coordinating with the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) and law enforcement to prepare the necessary documents for the search warrant application. It is expected to be filed with the Regional Trial Court by next week.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla had earlier disclosed the ongoing investigation into bodies allegedly buried inside the Lucky South 99 compound.

PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio previously revealed that reports had been received regarding remains buried in the compound.

Investigators and witnesses have identified possible locations of the mass graves.
