More victims of alleged sexual abuse by controversial religious leader Apollo Quiboloy are ready to testify in the Senate, according to Senator Risa Hontiveros.

In a statement, Hontiveros revealed that numerous individuals have expressed their willingness to come forward and share their experiences, aiming to uphold their dignity and the truth.

The revelation follows a previous Senate hearing in January, where a victim using the pseudonym “Amanda” detailed alleged sexual abuse committed by Quiboloy. The hearing was conducted by the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality, chaired by Hontiveros.

Meanwhile, Davao City Police Chief PCol. Hansel Marantan confirmed that two out of five alleged victims of Quiboloy’s sex slavery scheme are prepared to testify against the pastor.

The police official stated that Quiboloy allegedly used underage girls as young as 12 or 13 as his sex slaves, with each victim reportedly scheduled for sexual encounters with him.

Col. Marantan further disclosed that over 15 minors are believed to be trapped within the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Davao City and require rescue.

However, KOJC legal counsel Atty. Israelito Torreon dismissed these allegations as unfounded and in need of further investigation.
