The Philippine National Police (PNP) has described the statements of alleged sexual abuse victims of Apollo Quiboloy, the leader of the controversial Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), as “chilling.”

According to Col. Jean Fajardo, Chief of the PNP Public Information Office, individuals who approached the police claimed to have suffered abuse at the hands of Quiboloy.

The victims alleged that Quiboloy would assure them of their “purity” after being sexually used, claiming that it was the spirit of God who engaged with them.

Fajardo admitted that the victims’ accounts were deeply saddening and horrifying. It was further disclosed that Quiboloy allegedly abused different young girls every day, with some victims being as young as 12 years old.

These girls were reportedly scheduled and repeatedly molested by Quiboloy.

In response to these allegations, the PNP has vowed to seek justice for the unfortunate victims of Quiboloy’s abuse.
