The Department of Justice (DOJ) has assured that the human trafficking complaint filed against Alice Guo will not be impacted by the delay tactics employed by her camp.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla emphasized this point during a press conference held at the DOJ office this afternoon. According to Remulla, such tactics are not welcomed as they aim to slow down the investigation.

The DOJ, he stated, is focused solely on ensuring that the investigation progresses smoothly and that the individual responsible for the illegal POGO operations in the country is held accountable.

Previously, Guo’s lawyers filed a motion to reopen the investigation into the case. Secretary Remulla highlighted that the complaint against Alice Guo is now submitted for resolution at the DOJ.
