More than 1 million pesos worth of illegal drugs seized in a drug buy-bust operation in Iloilo

Illegal drugs worth more than 1 million pesos were seized in a buy-bust operation by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) in Barangay San Pedro, Molo, Iloilo City.

The subject is alias Boss, 28, a resident of Ajuy, Iloilo but lives in Leganes, Iloilo.

In an interview of Bombo Radyo Iloilo with Police Captain Ryan Christ Inot, team head of the CDEU, he stated that the subject is just doing up a cover-up story about being a supervisor in a lumber firm in the town of Leganes, but it turns out that he is engaging in illicit activities 

Inot added that the subject has been engaging in criminal activities for more than two months, operating a wing van from Manila transporting illegal drugs to the town of Leganes and then distributing them to regular buyers in Iloilo City.

During the operation, 26 sachets of illegal drugs weighing 150 grams were seized. The standard price of the drugs is 1,020,000 pesos.
