AFTER almost three years of deliberation, social media platform creator and influencer Ali Abulaban, 32, has been sentenced to spend the remainder of his life behind bars.

A California judge handed down two consecutive life sentences without parole for the first-degree murder of his wife Ana Abulaban, 28, and her friend Rayburn Cardenas Barron, 29, in San Diego in 2021.

Additionally, he received 50 years in prison for Gun Enhancement charges.

Abulaban, who is estranged from his wife, did not deny that he shot the two victims sitting next to each other on the sofa in her apartment in the East Village High-rise, San Diego in October 2021.

This occurred after he discovered Ana’s relationship with another man through an app he placed on their daughter’s ipad. The suspect believes his wife Ana and Barron are romantically involved.

Abulaban apologized to the judge and claimed he was in a Drug-induced psychosis when he entered their high-rise building on October 21, 2021.

When asked about cocaine use, he acknowledges the drug “messed with my brain.”

“It made me violent,” he said. “It made me aggressive when I’m on it, yeah.”

According to the California judge, Abulaban committed a cold-blooded murder without repentance. He added that his actions were “horrific” and very selfish.

Prosecutors say Ana was planning to file a restraining order and that Ali has a history of domestic violence.

Ana’s experiences with domestic abuse and Abulaban’s adultery led to their separation.##
