President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has assured the public that the justice system in the Philippines is functioning effectively.
According to the Chief Executive, this will be demonstrated as the judicial process involving the cases against Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Apollo Quiboloy is set to begin.
The President emphasized that the trial of the religious leader will showcase to the world that the judicial system in the country is not only active but is also being properly implemented.
Additionally, the President guaranteed that the hearing process for Quiboloy, often referred to as the “Son of God,” will be transparent.
He reiterated that those responsible must be held accountable in light of the charges filed against the KOJC leader, including sexual abuse, harassment, child abuse, and serious illegal detention.
