Police Regional Office 11 Regional Director, BGen Nicolas Torre III, expressed his gratitude to the members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who contributed to the successful arrest of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

Torre acknowledged the significant sacrifices made by the police force, especially since the final operation to apprehend the fugitive pastor led to a lengthy confrontation.

In a light-hearted manner, Torre joked that he would treat the officers to “lechon and a band” in celebration of their successful mission.

Three days after the operation, Gen. Torre officially took over as PNP Davao Regional Director, replacing Brigadier General Aligre L. Martinez.

It can be recalled that police previously attempted to serve a warrant to Quiboloy on June 10, 2023, but the effort failed when KOJC members blocked authorities, leading to a physical altercation.
