40-Year-Old Man Arrested for Raping 61-Year-Old Mother

Candijay, Bohol – A 40-year-old man was arrested after allegedly raping his 61-year-old widowed mother in Candijay, Bohol, on Friday, September 27, 2024.

The suspect, identified as “Doming” (not his real name), was quickly apprehended by local police following the incident.

According to initial police reports, the crime took place inside their home at around 5 AM.

The victim, known as “Lola Rosa” (not her real name), immediately reported the incident to the authorities.

“Doming,” an ex-convict who was recently released from prison on September 18, 2024, after serving 14 years for murder and other malicious acts, was reportedly intoxicated when he returned home and assaulted his sleeping mother.

Following the assault, the suspect was said to have shown remorse, even shedding tears over his actions, but he also threatened to kill his mother if she reported the crime.

However, the victim bravely decided to seek justice.

The police launched a manhunt operation, which led to Doming’s capture. He has since confessed to the crime, and his mother is determined to press charges.
