Silva, who had no known health conditions, was an accomplished bodybuilder, placing ninth in the 2018 South American Championships in the Men’s Physique Class up to 179cm.

Though he retired from competition, he continued to maintain his physique, coach athletes, and run a supplement chain and nutrition line.

“Heaven gained an angel. We are deeply saddened. He was so loved,” said his brother, Tiago, who expressed gratitude to the medical team for their efforts to save Silva’s life.

Tiago also thanked supporters for their kind messages and gestures.

Silva leaves behind his wife, parents, and siblings. He was laid to rest on November 24.

This tragedy follows a series of sudden deaths among young bodybuilders, including 19-year-old Matheus Pavlak, who suffered a heart attack in September, and fitness influencer Jo Lindner, who reportedly died of an aneurysm at 30 last summer.
