18-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Davao Road Accidentv

An 18-year-old male motorcyclist died after overshooting a curve on the Calinan-Cadalian road in Davao City.

The victim, identified as Aldrin, a resident of Purok 33, Brgy. Calinan, was riding a black-and-white Honda ADV motorcycle.

According to police reports, Aldrin was driving from Baguio Proper in Davao City when the accident occurred.

While navigating a sharp curve in Purok Rose, Brgy. Baguio Proper, the victim attempted to overtake another vehicle but lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorbike veered off the road and crashed into a drainage canal, causing fatal injuries to the young rider.

Emergency responders from Central 911 arrived promptly but were unable to revive the victim, who was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities have urged motorists to adhere to speed limits, ensure their vehicles are roadworthy, wear protective gear, and avoid driving under the influence of alcohol.

The family of the victim is now mourning their tragic loss.
