102.7 Star FM Manila named Best FM Radio Station at 3rd Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards

MANILA — 102.7 Star FM Manila has been honored as Best FM Radio Station at the 3rd Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards held on September 19 at the Teatrino Promenade, San Juan City.

The recognition highlights Star FM’s significant contribution to the industry. As the music station of Bombo Radyo Philippines, Star FM Manila has long been known not only for its great music but also for delivering timely news and reliable information to its listeners.

Receiving the award on behalf of the station were Station Manager Rizzele Anne “Star DJ Gabby” Escaño, along with Star DJs Ivown Adarna, Jerman Bolero, Kimmy Gora, and Administrative Officer Ruffa Mae Bosquit.

The awards night was graced by some of the country’s most prominent personalities, including acclaimed director Joel Lamangan, OPM icon Kuh Ledesma, and beauty queens Miss World Asia 2025 Krishnah Gravidez, Miss Grand International 2024 CJ Opiaza, Miss Universal Woman 2024 Maria Gigante, and Face of Beauty International 2024 Jeanne Isabelle Belisano. Also in attendance was ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual.

In an interview with Star FM, multi-award-winning filmmaker and Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards director Romm Burlat expressed his gratitude for the success of the event, while also commending Star FM Manila for earning the Best FM Radio Station recognition.

“Noon pa man, bilib na ako sa Star FM eh. There’s collaboration between all of you. Walang competition. You can see that you’re still over and above the rest in terms of music selection. Hindi boring makinig. Eto, may vibrance.” He then thanks everyone for a successful awards show, “Sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa 3rd Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards, thank you very much. I love you all.”
