The driver of the car reportedly pressed the accelerator by accident instead of the brake, causing the car to veer into the opposite lane and collide with the tricycle.

A van following behind the tricycle was also involved in the crash.

The tricycle passengers sustained severe injuries, while those in the car and van were unharmed.
